Please give us a short summary of your website?
Speaking 'Woof' is based on human and animal clairvoyance and medical intuition. My readings are based on captured energy contained within a photograph for humans and animals both alive and crossed over. My web site also provides a direct link to my book Speaking 'Woof' published on lulu.com. I also offer guided mp3 meditations for download from my site.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
After working with clients for six years offering healing treatments including meditation classes, Reiki healing, Iridology and Yoga there was a great demand for my service from clients located across Canada and the United States. My website has allowed me to reach people all over the world.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Speaking 'Woof' was officially launched in 2006. Speaking 'Woof' is my first website and I consider my business as well as this site to be my 'first born'. I cherish my work and my site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My beloved companion Miss Hoppers passed away in March of 2007 and it was my love and adoration for my companion that compelled me to name my site Speaking 'Woof' prior to her death.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I believe my site is different from other similar offerings as I feel my service is unique. There are animal communicators, there are clairvoyants and then there are medical intuitives, but rarely do you find a clairvoyant medical intuitive animal communicator all in one person!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to reach as many people as I possibly can and inspire people to understand and accept the importance of health and wellness through the mind/body connection. I also want to educate people about the reality and truth of life after death for both humans and animals and to also share with the world the inner and powerful world of our emotional furry companions.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I live for what I do and what I offer to my clients. Money is a reward for hard work and a great amount of time dedicated to your service and passion. Leaving a legacy of who I am for my children to be proud of is the best success I could hope for.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would not do anything differently as I am confident in my ability to promote my work and my service and feel proud of the actions I have taken to date.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
My desire to help people is far greater than my fear of becoming too busy with my business.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
No unexpected costs or headaches, just a desire to go forward and share my experiences and knowledge with everyone I can.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The only challenge I have faced is skepticism and doubt in regards to psychic ability. It seems the people who contact me for my service are the ones who have faith and trust and desire to connect to themselves as well as loved ones who have crossed over.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I love my web site and my business and I am very proud of my work. My site has exceeded my expectations on many levels and I will continue to work as hard as I possibly can to ensure Speaking 'Woof' evolves as I evolve.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
For as long as possible.
