What inspired you to launch your own website?
My radio show and also my new book being published later this year. I needed a professinal website.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In 2004 http://www.geocities.com/clairvoyantmedium.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I do a lot of Radio Shows in Canada, the USA and Ireland and people needed a simple name to remember, mine.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Easy to navigate.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I have a literary/film agent in NYC and a professional website is a must.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It is balanced and fair. My website was a gift from a client in Miami Beach because i helped her wine a $75K court case in 2007. She gave me the site as a Thank You Gift.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I will do more good for people with no money.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None. My client hired a webmaster and he handles everything.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Answering my telephone.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
My Radio Show.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has met my expectations already and is getting better every day.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
