paranormal insights was created to bring like minded folk together in a friendly enviroment, whether they are believers , skeptics or on the fence . i have been involved with the paranormal in one way or another for many yrs now and started out running paranormal groups and forums a few yrs back, they have been both an enlightening and a learning experience for me. i started my first forum a lil over a year ago which was very successful , however we changed home back in march this yr but the content and the regular activity is still buzzing. we have managed to keep a very user friendly enviroment with a no bad language claus and the insistance of being both curtious and open minded on others views and opinions. i keep the age limit at 16 and over for the simple reason that i feel we shouldnt exclude our young folk from learning and expressing their views and concerns , after all we all need some where to go and someone to talk to about our experiences and what better place to start than a friendly place like paranormal insights. Dont be fooled by the sickly sweet introduction though, we cover all aspects of the paranormal and we dont shy away from the horrors that may come with it, and we do encourage debates and discussions but its all managed very tastefully by myself and my two partners in crime (my moderators) max and stevie. we have people from all walks of life on the site, mainly from the uk and the usa but everyone is welcome, we have members from at least three different paranormal investigative teams based in scotland, the uk and the usa. we also have a few members who have some mediumistic/sensitive qualities and are happy to share our experiences with our members.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
to help and encourage like minded people to share their views, ideas and experiences on the many topics we cover.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
my first web site was a free site by the same name, i created it a lil over a yr ago
How did you decide on a name for your website?
well it had to include the paranormal and i wanted to share insight into the subject, so PARANORMAL INSIGHTS was born.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
the friendly family type atmosphere by genuinely interested folk . we pride ourselves on being civil and respective of everyones views even if we dont always agree with them.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
to make it a wonderful , careing paranormal community with many active members and try to keep as up to date as possible with all the latest goings on.

moving to a new site and starting from scratch with a brand new set up, but weve pulled it off .

advertising through other advertising sites, word of mouth and general search engines.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
this particular site has been going since march 2008, but paranormal insights was around a yr before on another site. i intend to keep this site going indefinately and hope that it gains many more members in the future.
