What inspired you to launch your own website?
As I practice the psychic arts with a very modern slant, I wanted to provide people with a small 'taster' and lots of information about various psychic practice that people may know very little about.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I have had a website for my persoanl clients for some time, http://www.future-forcast.co.uk However, over time I have been asked to practice at more events, private parties and corporate funtions and felt I needed a new site just for those clients and their information.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
That was easy, Party Psychic is what I do!
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Well, It is full of information written by me, and explains how I view and practice various psychic arts, press photos, TV exerpts,and magazine challenges and testing along with te results of testing and live events I have attended for the media, as well as many images of myself with a few of my celebrity clients. The personal touch Is what makes my site unique I hope.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To add more and more info to the site as required by clients, the site will never be sold.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Difficult to judge, however I am very pleased to get emails from people thanking me for explaing how Psychometry etc. works.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would probably employ someone else to add the huge amount of photos and testimonials I haven't yet had time to add myself.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I love to respond to peoples questions and love to write about psychic and paranormal subjects. It's easy when you are doing something you love.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Deciding how much info on each subject to add.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth, or viral.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It hasn't to be honest. I have had my first site for over ten years so had an idea of what to expect.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site will endure and I will deal with it's upkeep.
