There’s no flowing gown. There’s no crystal ball. There’s just Kristy, Psychic Medium and Life Coach.
Kristy’s involvement with the paranormal began at the tender age of 3 when she began playing and speaking regularly with spirits, labeled “imaginary friends” by her parents. This behavior was unacceptable in her household as her family was very religious. This however did not curb her curiosity for the paranormal and the unknown. Being an avid reader, she read everything and anything regarding different religions, the occult and the paranormal. In college, she took psychology and sociology classes and often did papers attempting to debunk paranormal events using scientific theory, however, she was never convinced. She has learned to challenge everything with healthy skepticism (scientific method), and in that process have been blessed and enriched in her spiritual beliefs while abandoning old superstitions that didn’t serve her well or prove valid. Kristy isn’t silent anymore….she has embraced the paranormal with the understanding that these things are just going to happen and are apart of life, apart of her life. Paranormal phenomena are just happenings that require a greater depth of understanding or touch us on a deeper level than normal events.
Today, Kristy is an internationally renowned Psychic Medium. Her clientele ranges from young to old, law enforcement, clergy, politicians, physicians, attorneys, domestic goddesses, metaphysical professionals and celebrities, to every day people. Her dedication and passion to her work is performed with honesty, integrity and humor, which sets her apart from the rest. She has touched the lives of thousands of people giving spiritual guidance and reunited them with their family and friends who have crossed over, in her private sessions (personal, phone and email), workshops and lectures. What inspired you to launch your own website?
I love to communicate with others and believe that networking via a website is not only wonderful from a personal level, but also professionally. It has helped me speak to those around the world, whom I would never would've ever 'met' before.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website back in the 90s when people were still saying 'huh' about the world wibe web. I have always been a writer and began a company called Sent by Santa (which is still in operation). I write personalized letters from Santa to children around the world. Monies are donated to the cleft association and other charitable causes.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It actually came to me in a dream.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I believe that it isn't just my website, but me. I call myself abnormally normal and in the industry that I work in (metaphysical) that speaks volumes. I have a family, a college education, and have worked in corporate America for years. I don't go around feeling people's auras or wear flowing gowns.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I have three books in the works, a few television shows and am doing several radio shows (internet and syndicated). I will also be launching an event planning company and I have some other things up my sleeve that I can't disclose as of yet. The future is gosh darn bright and I am embracing each of my dreams.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
If you believe, you can achieve!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would probably advertise more. Produce more websites and hire a personal assistant.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely! I am a super hero, afterall!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Having people ask me for 'freebies' as if my service doesn't take time or energy.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Having people ask me for 'freebies'.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
You really want me to disclose my secrets in advertising? Tsk tsk tsk.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I have had to keep up with flash and all that other funny new website lingo.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site has been running for approximately 5 years and it will be running forever!
