The Celtic Tarot Interview

By Interviewer at 03/11/09 12:50

, any: Bernie

Name of your website?

The Celtic Tarot

Your name?

Bernie Brennan

Your Location (city, etc)

Gibraltar

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The Celtic Tarot is a psychic website founded by Bernie approximately a year ago. A psychic Healer and clairvoyant, Bernie performs psychic readings and healing in and around the local area, she is also a busy mum to four kids and frazzled wife. Bernie uses her gifts to help promote a sense of wellbeing and healing in others and this is her favourite part of the work that she does.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to be my own boss, I felt determined and focused to try to develop my own website, even though I was and still am completely computer illiterate.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

It was and is the Celtic Tarot and it was launched approximately 12 months ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I'm Celtic and immensely proud of my Celtic Roots and culture and this plays a large part in my healing and clairvoyant gifts and services.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It offers a healing experience and although it is to project income, it offers free services, such as free tarot readings and free absent Reiki healing.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I plan to keep The Celtic Tarot for the next couple of years and to continue to build and promote the company.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

At the moment much of the money I earn is put back into the business to help to build it, but I do ok.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would get a bigger treatment room for my healing services and employ more staff.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I would look at hiring trusted people to help me to uphold the company standards, but that hasn't happened yet.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The business has limited overheads thankfully as it is mostly internet based although I do need products for my healing services.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Time constraints and not taking work home with me so to speak.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Internet Web Directories, such as this one

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is harder work than I anticipated, but gives me such a buzz, that the energy I put in helps me to develop my own business.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The Celtic Tarot has been going for 12 months and will continue with it for the time being.

What gives you the most job satisfaction

Healing people and helping them sort out their problems and empowering them to make changes to their lives for the better.

What is your website address?

The Celtic Tarot
