Please give us a short summary of your website?
I have a lot of information on my site, including how I opened up psychically and to mediumship, information about angels, spirit guides, how to receive a reading from me, etc.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
After years and years of dead end jobs I didn't love but only had for the paycheck, I knew after my brother was killed Christmas of '97 when my psychic abilities awakened that I am meant to help people communicate with their loved ones. What a great way to touch so many people all over the world through a web site!
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
About 7 years ago or so. It was a cheapo do it yourself site through a site builder place I found. I did what I could at the time; knowing nothing about web designing. This was the first big step I took to "get out there"!
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I named my site after my brother who passed away. I really feel his passing had everything to do with my awakening. He also has been helping me along my path.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I offer a lot of information, and information about myself so you can get to know me and what kind of person I am.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
One day I will write a book, but my goal is to help open peoples' minds so they know we are all one, that we don't "die" and live on, even without a body.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Oh, just being able to help; to hear the feedback from people after their reading with me is absolutely amazing. The feeling I have by being able to help is more valued than anything.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'm not too sure about this one.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yep! I'd hire my husband to help! :)
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Unexpected costs for repair of my google site map...not too much else! I have a great web designer.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting my name out there.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Backlinking, meta tags, keywords.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's a lot better and easier than I thought!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
About 3 years for this one - I don't foresee taking my site down at all.
How can you touch people from all over the world?
I do phone readings, so if someone is overseas, they call me at the time of their appointment and I mail the tape of the reading to them. If clients are in the US I make the phone call to them. I've done readings for people in Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Israel, England and all over the USA.
